Cop City in Atlanta is an ecological issue, an abolition issue, and a civil liberties issue.
If built, it would be the largest urban warfare training centre in North America built on the largest urban forest in the US — yet the people who are protesting it are getting thrown in jail on domestic terrorism and RICO charges, or money laundering charges for organizing bail funds, or felonies for leafleting.
I originally made these posters and assetsfor Adbusters social channels, but also as a personal project in solidarity with the people on the ground in Atlanta, taking direct action and reaping the wrath of an increasingly militarized state.
